The Fall of the Earth Republic.
This year is generally accepted as the Fall of the Republic. Obviously, a long list of events took place that led to this point, but it was in this year that Republic governance became completely ineffective.
It is curious to note that the mission of the Uriel took place relatively late in the Republic Period, more than 400 years after its founding. The Republic would survive less than a century after the Uriel’s crew made landfall on Somnius.
